Mark Orr

Mark has started working with us since the beginning of last year and is now well settled in Christchurch.  He graduated from Victoria University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science alongside a Masters in Osteopathy.

Mark has a passion for treating sports injuries and ensuring minimal time on the sidelines for his patients.  Mark is also interested in helping patients with general acute and chronic conditions.  He believes that everyone should be able to exercise pain free and he feels that he can play a role in achieving this.

Mark comes from an athletic background, he played in the second highest grade of Australian Rules Football for 5 years, and also was a keen basketballer in his younger days.  While football has taken a back seat for his Osteo career, a newfound passion of snowboarding has developed and you will be able to find Mark in the mountains this winter.

Mark can be followed on Instagram - where he has a few tips on exercise and rehabilitation.

Charles Giudicelli

Charles has recently joined the Christchurch Osteopathic Centre practice.

After completing his training in Osteopathy in the UK, Charles worked for 4 winters in one of the biggest ski resorts in France "Les Arcs", taking care of the ski school and other skiers.

Charles moved to New Zealand 11 years ago.  He worked for about 6 years in Whangarei and in Dunedin for 4 1/2 years before deciding to move to Christchurch with his wife and 2 children.

Before becoming an Osteopath, Charles was Professional League player (in England, Australia and France). While he was playing, he completed a Masters in Strength and Conditioning.

When he stopped playing League, Osteopathy became his main passion.  While he was a student at the European School of Osteopathy (E.S.O. Maidstone, Kent, UK) he was also mentored by some amazing practitioners such as Mr D. Triana, Mr P. Belgrave, Mr S. Paoletti and Mr J.P. Barral.

Today, as an experienced practitioner of Osteopathy, he loves to offer his wide-ranging skills to help patients realize their full potential, as he believes that anybody should be able to exercise and live without limitation or pain.

Charles specializes in conditions relating to the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands and fingers but also in hips, knees, ankles and feet.

From his training, he also enjoys helping patients with digestive issues, nerve pain, migraines/headaches and acute or chronic conditions.

Qualifications:  D.O. (UK), PhD in Osteopathy & Masters Strength and Conditioning.
